Osteoporosis specialists in Austin, TX

0 Recommendations

I'm looking for recommendations for doctors, personal trainers, etc., in Austin.

I've been diagnosed with osteopenia, and would like to avoid taking drugs. So assistance with developing an effective exercise plan (as well as nutrition) would be very helpful.

My internist is great but doesn't have anyone to recommend for this.

Any of you out there in Austin, with recommendations?

Thanks!

soprano, www.nof.org has a listing of doctors on their website.

You may also want to check the community sidebar for Activity information which list support groups. Support group leaders and members often have names of doctors in the area.

Thanks for that tip. Unfortunately, the nof.org website only lists *one* MD in Texas, and he's in El Paso. Quite far away.

I'll look for some local community within this group.

Thanks,

Tandy
