Is Kyphoplasty A Good Idea

0 Recommendations

I have had conflicting views from different doctors on whether or not I should have Kyphoplasty done. I was diagnosed with pregnancy associated osteoporosis and am only 23 years old with 9 fractures in my spine. I don't know if I should have it done or not. I would love to have my height back, somewhat, be with out pain and not have a protruding abdomen from compressed abdominal cavity, so this seems like a good idea right? I am worried about the risk factors though, so anyone out there who has my disease or who has had kyphoplasty done please let me know if it worked or not, is it worth is? Any info or personal experience or your doctors advice would be helpful
