i wish that i had written this softer..it is so stiff. There is so much to get from grassroots, besides information, they do the tests== to see the level of our -current -----D ---then in a year do the same test to see the improvement--- and cheaper than doctors--who really dont have the rest of the information needed to make good use of the tests?
I LISTEN to the videos, but will have to listen more to understand the numbers . i assume there are varied tests-- each done according to the measure of blood--not being a chemist it annoys me to have it in milliletes AS IF I AM SUPP0SED TO UNDERSTAND AND RETAIN THAT FORMULA.
IT DOES SOUND LIKE OUR D LEVEL RAISES A CERTAIN DEGREE AT EACH designated TEST LEVEL..
AND SO FAR IT SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS NO TOXIC STATE IN VIT D==AND EVEN --MAYBE NO TOO HIGH DOSE --DAILY? at any rate--they are getting us up there-- getting us to thinking HIGHER.
Has the grassroots information influencd you. i am hoping the sun comes out for some minutes in it TODAY ..

This is fantastic news Bettyrenshaw!!!!! Thanks for sharing. Now that we are exposed to osteo, we see that there is very little information out there and can't really count on the medical profession either. TOGETHER, maybe we can make a difference.

OWIE, there are many clinicians that have focus and working on bone loss. The clinicians that are on the panel of the NOF meetings as well as the clinicians that attend the meetings are very passionate about care for people with bone loss and doing all that they can in preventing fracture. Unfortunately, many of the doctors that you and I may have are not accessing the information at NOF. How can a doctor care for my bone loss if they are not current with the information on www.nof.org which has information specific to health professionals. You may be interested in Searching the NOF journal on the community: NOF Helps Professionals Reach More Patients. But we also have to advocate for our doctors or a member of their office staff to stay on top of osteoporosis information.

did the NOF have any help for you. iT IS CONFUSING TO Me... I DID NOT SEE ANY THING THERE THAT EXPLAINS TREATMENT,, I DID SEE WHERE MEDICARE [D] pays for drugs
, but vitamin AND MINERALS ARE NOT DRUGS. and most people here wont do the drugs now....they do vit D, e, c, cop10, calcium, magnesium, etc........
medicare wont pay for those but they are cheap ands we can buy them any where.... my insurance paid for my 50,000 iu vit D... come to think of it.
