Fosteum vs. Bisphosphonate

0 Recommendations

I was just diagonosed with osteopenia and am deciding on what to take after researching the options. Fosteum is not a drug with the possible side effects, it rebuilds bone, does not stay in your system, and reduces hot flashes. Why would someone choose to take a bisphosphonate such as Actenol, Fosamax, and Boniva with their possible ill side effects instead of taking the natural alternative Fosteum?

Not everyone likes a natural approach. There seem to be those that want to do everything all natural and those that prefer the medical route.

When I was diagnosed 12 years ago, Fosteum did not exist. In fact, Fosamax had just come onto the market. Before that there was nothing I could do but take calcium and I was only 33. Fosamax has worked for me so I have stuck with it. If it wasn't working I would certainly try other options.
