EZORB Calcium

0 Recommendations

My wife has just been diagnosted with osteoporsis? She broke her leg twice and wrist once in 2008. She read all possible side affects of most presciption medicines and wants a safer but effective product. She likes everything she heard about EZORB but only testimonials were on their site. Has anyone else had good or bad sucess. It is somewhat expensive.

Hi Char,

Why are you taking Calcium Amino Acid Chelate, with EZorb and what is that?
Glad to hear your Osteo has not gotten worse.

Jacki,
Wow EZorb has really made a differents in your DEXA.
Good for you.
Are you taking anything else with EZorb?
Do you also Exercise? If so what?

I have to say, I have never believed Testimonials before. As one time when I was buying a Nordic Track machine, I called someone that they said give a Testimonial. That person said, she did buy the Nordic track, but NEVER wrote a Testamonial about it, and would not buy it again. Although its a good machine.
I have noticed on Testimonials, they usually never give the last name, or the full name, so you cannot call that person and find the truth, as I did.

Hi Jacki!

I was encouraged by your reply about Ezorb...I have been taking it since January and will have my next bone scan in Sept/Oct. I tried Actonel and had terrible side effects that didn't kick in for several months...my doctor wanted me to start on Fosomax several months ago, but due to severe muscle spasms in my back (which leaded to injections and physical therapy) I am afraid of the bone building prescription drugs. I really think the Actonel caused this muscle problem. It was horrible!! I continue to take my Ezorb and I will be thrilled if I have just remained stable. It's really good to hear it's working for someone else. Thanks for your input!

I took ezorb all of 2008 and my DEXA results were the same as 2 years ago. Went off of ezorb for 8 weeks and Calcium Citrate gave me GI problems. Calcium Amino Acid Chelate was not as bad. Therefore the end of April I started back on ezorb. Have no GI problems with ezorb, take it 3 times a day along with Calcium Amino Acid Chelate. Not looking for a miracle, just to remain the same. I am a heavy exerciser.

I was introduced to ezorb by my neighbor. She's been on ezorb for at least 5 years and had great success with it. Her testimonial was published in their newsletter. I've been on ezorb for a little over two years. My result wasn't as good as hers but my dr said it was pretty significant. I was told my lumbar spine increased about 8% but the hip had only 3% increase. The product does work. You probably shouldn't expect to have the same level of increase as those who contributed testimonials but more or less you will get some. As for the testimonials they publish a newsletter. I subscribe and read every issue with joy. Every issue they have several letters from customers. You can find old issues in their archive.

Hi Andrea,

I'm glad to hear that you are doing ok on the Ezorb! I'm now on my 3rd jar of the powdered and having no problems at all. So I will probably re-order and, like you, keep it up for at least a year. I'm also taking strontium and bone-builder/with boron. I won't be taking a DEXA scan for a while yet. I'm hoping that these 3 things, in addition to my going off of gluten, will at LEAST stop the bone loss, and hopefully show some improvement.

Good luck.

Wilson aa, Good to know. have you had DEXA scans that have shown improvement? Thanks.

I don't know how long e-zorb has been going but the problem with osteo is that any improvement is going to take a long time to show. A year minimum I should say.
So if trying anything you are sort of committed for a year or so. This could explain repeat orders.
I'm sort of trapped in that scenario myself in that when diagnosed I decided to skip bisophosphonates and went for the Algaecal/strontium system. Five months in I'm now wondering if any improvement will be down simply to the Strontium with the algaecal there just as a money spinner. Maybe any old calcium would be just as good!
If anyone out there knows anything nasty about Algaecal I'd appreciate hearing about it.
In the meantime some more news of ezorb.
http://www.articlealley.com/article_168898_28.html
Sounds like it could be a get rich quick scheme!

Ezorb has an 87% repeat customer rate which tells me that it must be helping the majority of the people who are purchasing it or else they would not continue to buy it. Also, there are archives of newsletters on the Ezorb website full of testimonials from people who have experienced remarkable results from this product.

I do know for me, I have suffered NO heartburn with Ezorb, which is a big plus, considering the other forms of calcium I have tried did cause me problems. I am committed to staying on this supplement for one year and then re-evaluating my situation. I'm done with the drugs for now after experiencing the horrible side effects.

Larry, sales promotion are not permitted on the community. Volunteer Moderator

I looked uo ezorb. The proof they offer is the "testimony" of one man (not woman) who cured his osteoporosis within a few months with nothing but EZORB. He mentions a doctor in Texas. I looked up the doctor. he is a psychiatrist by specialty but does some family medicine. I never heard of research based on a sample of one. They also mention research on rats but it is not published in any reputaqble journal. Who are they kidding?

Larry Pure Wellness Janson,
Your trying to sell your product here by a Company named, "Nikken".
If that is true, I think you and anyone here might want to check out on www.google.com
Nikken Scam.

Larry Janson Why did you mention your a Christian?
What does that have to do with this Osteoporosis Community?

Osteoporosis is becoming big business. Please be careful. If in doubt about any community member that may be promoting sales, please bring the post to the attention of the volunteer moderators (pgreene or sdivas) or Beth (Inspire). Thank you. Sandi (sdivas)

Jacqueline,
He goes by the name of Purewellness on here, that is not a website. If you clicked on the website he wants you to go to, its called,
NIKKEN.

Take Care,
April

What is Purewellness? I couldn't find the site you refer to on the net.

Just to let you all know, I did a search on Purewellness, and he is a sales Rep for the website he has put up here.

One of the products is a combination of Calcium with Strontium!
I take Strontium citrate. As I have read and been told, If you take the Strontium with the Calcium, they compete, and will not absorb. Strontium has to be taken separate from Calcium. About 4 hours apart.

The other one has D in it and minerals which look good and are very commen.
Its also Very Expensive. $75.00. Wow.
Those Ing. can be bought seperatley for allot less money, and get a higher dosage.

I think this just shows us, we have to be careful, as anyone can write up a website, and go through the computer and try to pedal off what they are selling to make a buck.
Anyone can say or claim what ever they want on there websites. There is not anytype of control on the internet.

Please be careful.

Shame on you Larry Janson.

Yes! Do beware Tommy there are some cynical enough to use this forum purely for the purpose of finacial gain.
Purewellness could be legitimate but it's just as well to be careful.

Purewellness,
Are you selling this/these product?

Hi Sdivas,
Thanks I now found the website. Interesting.

Sue You might want to take a look at the website on NOF that Sdivas mentioned above here.
Also check out the BoneLadys site .
She talks about Strontium Citrate , or google it.

Take care,
April

I was just on the Ezorb website and it just sounds too good to be true!! Tho' I'd like to believe it!! All the others sound too horrible to be true, (fosamax, reclast, boniva etc.) I took fosamax briefly when I learned a year ago I had osteoporosis. I now only take oscal, and I go back and forth on good diet and exercise sometimes I can and sometimes I can't. I do think that ---MANY--- people must have bad bones, since I've been diagnosed I think most people walking down the street have op!! I get my next bone density in July that will be 18 months and it scares me to death that it may have gotten worse, it threw me for such a loop when I found out I had it, really its taken the whole year to get use to the idea. And we are all so young (53) what happens to us in 10 years, 20 years??

www.nof.org --- Click "About Osteoporosis" which will bring up Frequently Asked Questions --- you should see an article regarding calcium. Hope this helps. Sandi
