I would like to see how those on Evista are doing? Did you notice a better Bone Mineral Density test after being on Evista? Has Evista helped with your score on hip and spine? Any trouble with side effects?
I have not had but one Bone Mineral Density since I found out I had Osteoporosis. That was last December of 2006. I may wait another year before I get a test. The only side effect I have is gaining weight.
My spine numbers went from-3.0 to -2.6,hip numbers went from -1.9 to -2.3.Not good for my hips.Ihave not had any side effects from the Evista.So easy to take.As i said once before my dr wants me to take fosamax with the Evista but i sure hate too. maybe i need to exercise more to bring my numers down on my hips.also these dexa scores are done every 2 years.share any ideas for me
I used Evista several years ago and got calcium deposits in my muscles. Everyone reacts in different ways. For some reason I cannot use any of the osteoporosis medications.
So now I am working on using natural vitamins and an alkaline diet. I am going to check if my bone density has gone up after 6 months to one year. Also, I am exercising more to strengthen my bones and increase my balance.
