Émile Coué de Châtaigneraie (February 26, 1857 – July 2, 1926) was a French psychologist and pharmacist who introduced a method of psychotherapy and self-improvement based on optimistic autosuggestion.
He coined the phrase "Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better." He taught it to his students to help them better their health and quality of life.
Modern research supports Émile Coué's belief that positive thought has a beneficial effect on health. In fact, a recent study showed a 26% reduction in mortality for people with a more optimistic attitude toward life.
So ask your self the question, Is this how I live my life or not? Try and take this phrase and not so ancient wisdom into consideration as you go about your day. This is what I teach my clients and it works very well indeed.
