Cancer Surgery Acid reflux GERD

My story starts in the late teens with the awareness of Gerd (acid reflux disease). They didn't know much then, its not until my third child as an adult that it wasn't treated with medication and 3 fundoplications and then finding out about my brain tumor. I had surgery and am recovering well. Later, I was then diagnosis of celiac and crohns. The medication for crohns coupled with the malabsortion issue are very real and closely watch by key doctors. I had so many symptoms of malabsortion thats how they thought to look at my bones at age 38 yrs. At age 40yrs. I am off the endocort and slowly improving with supplements with the watchful care of doctors. I am in phys. therapy and currently going into for testing for my fundoplication. We think it has come loose because of the endocort for crohns. Its all still on going. I thought I would share. Its is a challenging process. I am grateful I haven't factured anything and I don't intend too. I am trying to take good care of myself so I may be of service to others. Have a great day all of you, thank you for those that have made this website possible. It has been a help for courage and education.
