When I decided Ca supplementation was a one-stone, two birds resolution to a problem, I went over to the pharmacy and had a chat with one of the local pharmacists. The question came up "Does Ca supplementation interfere with a calcium channel blocker for hypertension or viseversa? In his vast practical history, it had not proven to been an issue, "to his knowledge." When my blood pressure went up AFTER starting the Ca regimen, I did some more research. I found a recent med student journal which documented these compounds ARE antagonistic... "in a moderate fraction of persons taking them"...What's Happening Out There In "Your Knowledge?"???????
