I am here but not much. Southernlady

I am here, too. Not much either. josie

Hi Bone Building Buddies! I'm here, too! Have been too busy to take the time to figure out how to use this site - as you will recall, I was very used to just getting individual emails which were easy to answer. I've got the hang of this new site now, and believe it will give us some good info. I miss all you ladies!

Good to hear from you as I've always felt you may have been the missing link. (smile).

I [We] am/are here too....I try to check in once a day or at least read the Inspire e-mail and keep track of conversations....but it seems like most of us 3 B's are missing in action. I miss the old commaradery (sp?) we once had.

Hi Dixie, we may be able to get some of what we had back now that we can keep a continuous discussion going. Thanks for responding. Sandi

I'm still here and try to check in every other day. Don't seem to have time every day to get to the computer. There have been some very informative conversations in the past and certainly hope they continue. Betty

I'm still here. Not as active as before. It's good to see that some are still on. Ah, fond memories. :-)

Dixie,
I just came across your poem about shoes. I howled! That was you that authored that, right? I miss that stuff too.

Does that mean that only the writers and responders can see these posts?

I'm new but, very interested in any natural products or information that helps rebuild my bones.

You may want to post a new discussion with the subject Natural Products to receive the answers that you are seeking.

Hi,

I'm still here and am learning a lot from the posts.

Candy

I'm glad you are still here. I think if the B's want to stay connected, all we have to do is subject Bone Building Buddies which will keep the discussion in the same thread. We can use the general community discussion for questions and brainstorm the ideas as we did in the past within our group. We'll have the best of both. Sandi

I had some trouble after the change but now that I know what to do (hopefully) I will be able to access all the Bone Building Buddies. Hooray again for that. josie

Hi,

I'm here, but only occasionly. I review postings and am glad I can drop in. Not much going on but I'll post if inspired. Linda

Hi Linda, I'm glad you're still here. We'll keep this thread going, and whenever you want to check in with the B's, you'll be able to find us. Sandi

Okay I am confused. I didn't write any poem about shoes...but thanks for the compliment (i think?) I am not that talented...lol! Now I am curious...where did you find it?

Sandi:
Just who are the Bone Building Buddies?
The original people from last Fall's NOF support group?
I had not seen this term before last week when you sent out a message.

The Bone Building Buddies are women from NOF Linking II list that came together and formed an osteoporosis discussion group. We started with group emails, and progressed to google as the group became larger. We were a diverse group of women that supported, motivated, and encouraged each other. Most of the women had hoped that NOF would eventually have a discussion group. Unfortunately, the change from our group to the community did not meet the expectations of some of the B's. Add a second change and many of the women left the community. In my opinion, the B's were the women that initiated the majority of the discussions and kept the activity going on the community. The activity on the community is not as busy as it was in the past. Most of us have experience with osteoporosis chat groups, and came here with the knowledge of what it takes to make an osteoporosis discussion board active and remain current. Hopefully having professional knowledge that we now have in the community will bring some of the women back to the community and encourage other women to join in our discussions. We had good discussions and some laughs along the way. The B's are a unique group of women, so I hope you will check back on this thread. Sandi
