I think I read somewhere that if you have osteoporosis or osteopenia, that crunches should be avoided. Is the ab machine at the gym okay? It's the kind where you add weights and then bend forward. I also saw an infomercial advertising the abrocket and it doesn't look like it put stress on the back. Is the abrocket safe?
