uterine and bone cancer

I had uterine cancer in December and had a hysterectomy. I had spot radiation, everything was clear. No lymphoid involvement and all pap smears since clear.

So now i have bone cancer. My current hematologist pushed the pathologist into running further tests on the biopsy from one of my ribs Turns out what my obgyn oncologist said was VERY RARE was in fact the case. The uterine cancer was the origin of the bone cancer. that I was recently diagnosed with.

Anybody out there had this occur?

Secondly, the hematologist said that after chem that this could be effectively treated with hormones. Anybody have this occur?

Thirdly, had I been given chemotherapy in addition to radiation ( spot ) for the uterine cancer could it have stopped the metastasis of the cancer into my bones?

I had my mediport put in today and will start chemo on Monday.
