Having sex and fighting HPV

0 Recommendations

Could someone help me out here. Having intercourse is how we got here. I contacted HPV through my new boyfriend, now husband about 4 years ago. I have been through it all, ending up having a hysterectomy (TAH) So while all along trying to rid my body of HPV and cervical dyplasia, I continued to have intercourse. I don't think that helped me one bit. I wish that I refrained from sex, elimated stress and ate dim veggies, multi vitamins, etc. so my body could heal. If that would have been the case maybe I could have saved myself from having that TAH. Of course no doctor out there would tell you to not have intercouse???????? or maybe. A year after my TAH, my pap came backk abnormal. I of course freaked. I decided for the time being to avoid sex, why would I want to do something that got me in this position anyways. What are other views on this? Am I being alittle crazy. My husband is being somewhat supportive.
