Hi,
I'm 21 yrs old and was diagnosed with HPV July of last yr. I had a conebiobsy done on August 2007. I then had PAP's done every 3 months. They all came back normal thank God. I've been off the pill for over 6 months and have been having unprotected sex with my husband. We've been TTC and no signs. I'm starting to think that my surgery had something to do with it. We both come from families that haven't had problems concieving. My period started Nov. 4 and I've done the pregnancy calculator online, it tells me that my conception date is Nov. 18 But what could I do to make my chances higher for pregnancy? We've been unprotected for about more than 6 months. I took an early response test, negative on Sunday. For the last 2 days we've been having relations and I'm not sure if my surgery is preventing me from concieving. What are the chances and risks of getting pregnant after a conebiopsy? Is it true that it takes a year after you've been off the pill to get pregnant? Plese help...

it's possible. you might not be ovulating when you think. that seems to be the most common problem when gals are ttc. ask your ob for help. also make sure it's ok that you are even ttc....i'm hoping you know it is.

Hi Yami - my husband and I have also been ttc since my cone.. I had a cone done in January of 2008 and we have been ttc since April.. I too was on the pill but I came off of it in February - since couldn't have sex for 8 weeks after cone (i had bleeding issues) i didn't need to be on it.. This month yet again I got my period, so now this month I am using ovulation kits.. I was using the online things too... It took me 11 months to get pregnant with my son.. My obgyn is giving me another month or two and then will send me to an RE as he feels my CM was compromised from ther surgery - which is not unheard of. Good Luck.
