I had another colp. this morning. The doctor told me that the previous lesions that they had found had healed themselves, which is great news! However, they said news ones are in place. So, it's good that my body is healing itself, but it's bad that they are coming back.

I'll get my results by Thursday (prob. tomorrow) and hoefully the biopsies come back ok...at least not progressive.

By the way, I've had a child and I get the whole pain thing, but I would rather give birth than be probed and plucked...and sliced

hello, angela. sounds like you're feeling ok after the doctor's appintment, and that's a good thing! i'm trying to understand your situation, and i'm a bit confused....you had a leep many years ago to treat cervical dysplasia, right? and now you're dealing with it again, right? are they testing you for hpv each time? you might have been exposed to a new hpv strain recently that would have resulted in this new hpv infection and dysplasia rather than the 'old' hpv becoming activated again. there's no way to be sure. when the doctor said that lesions were healed, did he see scarring? or just an absence of where there used to be the dysplasia, and now it's in a different location? hopefully you've got a good understanding of your cervical health situation, and the doctor is providing you with specific details - knowledge is power! has the doctor already discussed a possible treatment plan for the dysplasia, or are you waiting to see the biopsy results?

and what did the doctor say about the bleeding and pain you're experiencing? does he have a plan to address that issue?

Hi Angela,

I was just checking up on you to see if you'd gotten any results back yet. Congrats on the old lesions healing - what great news!

Well, keep us updated. You're in my thoughts.
