I have 3 days left b4 I am actually at week 4 from recovering from LEEP procedure CIN III. I had sex with my significant other last night. I had no bleeding, but did suffer from hemmroids a few days prior. Am I putting myself at risk of not healing as the doctor did say 4-6 weeks. This is week 4 but just a few days shy. Did I make a stupid decsion. Too many glasses of wine on fathers day.... I feel guilty as if I was not thinking of my body.
You might want to ask your doctor about this. I think a lot of times, doctors want to check and see how you're healing and then give you the go ahead for resuming intercourse and other things after a LEEP (swimming, baths, tampons, etc.)
Did your doctor tell you to make a follow-up appt. for a healing progress check? Try calling and see what he/she says.

I went for my 2 week follow up to check on the healing of my cervix, she said it was healing really good. The forms she gave me said 4-6 week; however we jumped the gun a few days before the 4th week. I have not had any bleeding or pain or cramping. I feel fine. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed and see what is revealed in my 6mnth pap & check up.
scared30yrold I hope you turn out fine. Today is my 3 week in to my Leep Procedure. My doctor told me I could have intercourse and take a well deserved bath at 3 weeks. The bath was wonderful, but nervous about the intercourse. I bleed everyday up until this point. I finally feel like I have my body back. I go back for a follow-up next week. I will be biting my nails until then. I'm a lil nervous they will tell me that I have to have the procedure repeated
