Support for someone in need

I would first of all like to say hello to everyone. I have never been on this website but my sister has. She currently has cervical cancer and said she finds a lot of comfort in this group. But now I am asking anyone who can to please help and give her support. She has been dealing with a lot and it really has effected her. She was admitted to the hospital last night after an attempted suicide. She is going to be okay but I'm trying every way I can to make sure it stays that way. I am sure people going through what she is could be a great comfort to her. Her profile is inspire.com/rosalie. Thank you for those who have shown their support already.

Oh Kitykat! Please tell your sister that we are all sending our support, and keeping her in our thoughts and prayers. Please let her know that she is not alone and that there are woman here to help or just listen. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

Thank you for the kind words. It means a lot to me and I know it means a lot to her. As far as I know she is supposed so be out Friday so I'm sure that she'll be saying thank you. Just giving your support is enough.

katy, i'm so sorry to hear this news! and how sweet that you're reaching out on rosalie's behalf. i'm glad to hear that she felt support here....this really is a warm and supportive group, and i hope she'll come 'visit' again when she's back home. hopefully the hospital will be able to line up some good emotional/psychological care along with her physical care. and please be sure to take care of yourself as well as i'm sure it's a difficult time for you too. please let rosalie know i'm thinking of her, and i hope she's soon back on a healing path.

Thank you flowershoplady. I'm really happy to hear both you and hathagirl say these things, because it is a hard time. I'm sure she'll be back to thank you. I'm doing all I can for her and I'm glad that you think ir's sweet. what are sisters for?

Dear kitykat:

Please tell your sister that we all have her in our thoughts and prayers. I hope she recovers soon.

God Bless.

Please tell your sister she is in my thoughts and prayers. Its truely a very difficult thing to go through, but she is not alone by far, she has support from here, and apparently from a very caring sister. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer about a year and half ago, so I can sincerely say that I know her pain. Please tell her we are here.

Katy
Your sister is so lucky to have someone as special as you. I know because I have a special sister, too. My ex was also very supportive during my bladder cancer treatment, and even though you don't know us, we're here as friends.
Keep us posted, ok.

We are so sorry for all you and your sister and family are dealing with. Please see the note I sent you.

Best regards,

NCCC

I will be praying for your sister and your family. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in Dec, 2006. After a radical hysterectomy, chemo, and radiation I am still here. Tell your sister to have faith. She is not alone. I will be thinking of you both.

If I haven't thanked you or thanked you enough well here are my thanks to you. You are all an amazing group of people and your support means so much to me.

Rosalie, please hang in there. I know sometimes life gets so hard, but it sounds like you have people that really love you and you know you have the people on this site to vent to.

Katy and Rosalie - Sisters can be the best friends! After breaking down Thursday I ran away to my sister's house 100 miles away. We shopped all day and it was the best therapy ever. I felt normal again.
Rosalie - This illness can be so overwhelming. It can consume every moment of your day. I have been frustrated with trying to understand what is going on inside of me, angry about the time I have wasted in my life when I could have been starting a family, and struggling with the decision of what treatment options to take. Your concerns may be similar or you may have something else going on entirely. Whatever is troubling you, please know that you are not alone. Your family obviously loves you and there is a strong group of women here who are praying for you with all their hearts. Strangers or not, we are all now bonded together with common fears and victories. We are proud of you for reaching out! Best wishes and hope to you and your sister!

oh thank you all again. you are amazing <3

katy- please let your sister know that we are thinking of her. She is not alone and that even though we can not physically help. we are here to offer as much emotional support as we possibly can.. we will help her fight this battle that lies ahead.
