CERVICAL CANCER/HPV CONFERENCE
Hello everyone. Here is a ***SAVE THE DATE*** reminder for the upcoming cervical cancer/HPV conference in Chicago this upcoming Oct. 8, 9 and 10th. The conference is for women (and their caregivers) that have or had cervical cancer or persistent HPV infection, (and clinicians too). Last year the annual conference was in Los Angeles and the year before the meeting was held in Washington DC on Capital Hill.
We are excited by the way this years lineup is shaping up, to include personal breakout group meetings for women who have battled or are battling cervical cancer and a separate breakout group for women battling persistent HPV infection.
We will continue the (1) Conversation we have had in the past on sex after cancer, (2) updates on both the HPV/cervical cancer vaccine(s) and (3) status of HPV testing including typing.
(4) We hope to have a GREAT DEBATE between experts on the question, SHOULD BOYS and YOUNG MEN BE VACCINATED TOO????
We will start the conference Oct. 8th with a personal evening Get To Know You cocktail party with fantastic music. The night of Oct. 9th is an OPEN night for you to explore the amazing LOOP area of downtown Chicago. We will end the meeting with an exciting new Action Plan and a never before fantastic seen Guest Celebrity Speaker at our conference.

I marked my dates from the NCCC Calendar we got at last years conference. I'm really trying to be there this year too. I don't plan to miss an NCCC conference. Ladies this is an awesome conference you don't won’t to miss. Great speakers and the organization is too many words to describe in this posting, but extraordinary to say the least. The NCCC & members really helped me to get thru my ordeal and still encourages me today. Sign-up so u don't miss this great conference. Hope to see you there.

chicago is an excellent place to have the conference!!! and, i'll be able to attend at least some of the conference since i'm so close. :) and how cool that it's being held on the columbus day weekend....some people may have that monday off from work and can take an extended weekend. and, i can help too....including offering local suggestions, ideas, how to negotiate the city, etc.!

The conference will be at the downtown Marriott Hotel on Michigan Ave. The specific info. for the conference comes out the end of this month.
It will be an amazing event for you. Lifetime friendships are made at the meetings and you have an opportunity to tak with other women and family members going through the same cervical cancer or HPV battle you are facing.
