TiffanyB: Wow, you are so young, are you sure a hysto is something you even want to consider. Your uterus and ovaries are so insanely important for so many things. Please, I mean not to offend you, it truly breaks my heart that you are so young and faced with such a difficult, life-altering decision. I heard that endo can be crazy painful! I am almost wondering if I don't have it as they have done 3 ct scans and a pelvic sono and cannot find the reason for the abdo and pelvic pain that I have been having for the past 2 months. I have also lost my appetite and 25 lbs.

Anyway, back to you :o)...I have placed below, a site that I want you to take a look-peak at. I wish I could be of more assistance to you, but you have been farther than myself in this whole gyno health stuff :o)

I am wondering if there isn't some natural remedies that you couldn't try to help you with the pain of the endo. The ladies on this forum are quite up on the natural stuff so I am sure they can give you some ideas :o)

Here's the site...check it out, you won't regret that you did.

You're welcome! :o) So, if you do not mind me asking, what is Lupron and what is it for? More personaly, why are you not able to have children? Did the LEEP do too much damage or is it the endo? My step-son is actually a baby concieved during some pretty intense endo.

Anyway, best wished to you :o)

i have 2 links for you the first is what lupron is http://www.drugs.com/lupron.html
i dont and wont take lupron i'd rather be in pain to thell the truth and yes i cant have kids because of the endo and from the leep my cervix is damaged

http://www.webmd.com/drugs/drugreview-1591-Lupron+Depot+IM.aspx?drugid=1591 &drugname=Lupron+Depot+IM&monoId=5137&monoTitle=LEUPROLIDE%20MONTHLY%203.75 %20MG%20-%20INJECTION&pageIndex=0&sortby=3&conditionFilter=2475

sorry its a big link but these are some feed back from woman taking lupron and why i dont want to take it
i thought it was pretty shocking to hear what these woman had to say about it .

Is it the scar tissue that causes your pain, or is there still endometriosis remaining after surgery?

I had a lap done last Thursday and endo was found (and removed) between my cervix and bladder. I had a cold knife cone done 7 months ago for CIN III with glandular involvement. My pap last month was normal. I am with you...I absolutely do not want to take lupron. I think I would rather have a hysterectomy. I am not saying that's what you should do by any means, but I understand your reluctance to take lupron! And I understand how imperative it is to get rid of the pain.

Talk to your dr. about the different degrees of hysterectomy and other types of hormone therapy.

I am going to see my dr. on July 6th for follow-up and to discuss how to keep the endo under control. I will let you know if he tells me about any other options.

Good luck!

Tiffany,

I'm no expert on this stuff, but a friend of mine has endo and I believe just regular birth control was an option given to her to control it. Did your doctor mention that to you?

yes i'm on kiriva but i'm still in alot of pain but i'm dealing with it the best way i can
