***Praying for Nicole- NCCC Member***

0 Recommendations

Tonight and this weekend and into next week, if you find it in your heart and have the time, Please say a prayer of comfort, Love, HOPE and Healing for our dear NCCC member, Nicole, as she may finish her cervical cancer fight in this world and begins her journey to move on with the love of God and grow her soul in a new way. Her belief in the Lord our God and LOVE of her wonderful four very young children, husband and mom help her find comfort at this challenging time.

Her message to me while we spent special time together today was; "Alan, tell all the ladies in NCCC, tell everyone, to KEEP FIGHTING Cancer, communicate the message to Prevent Cancer...Get the Vaccine. Don't stop communicating, don't give up. Get everyone the cervical cancer-HPV vaccine so they do not have to go through what my family and I are going through." In talking with Nicole today and her mom, we shared some loving caring moments, laughed and cried. But it is YOU that gave her the energy to restate to me several times to make sure you all know to keep up the fight to communicate the message that no one need get these HPV cancers. Nicole and her mom wear their NCCC "CANCER SUCKS" pin proudly. And we WILL keep up the fight and keep spreading the word of stopping cancer through Prevention.

And Nicoles children will know how amazing and wonderful their mom has been.............

FYI: Nicole almost made it into our recent 2009 NCCC Fashion Show we had with STEP UP. She and her mom told me that the idea of being in the cervical cancer survivor Fashion Show was one thing that kept Nicole going during part of the hard fight she has had with her cancer. She LOVES the NCCC and the members in the organization and its mission.

I will keep Nicole and her family in my daily thoughts and prayers. God has a plan.............

Praying for Nicole and her loving family....It is amazing that even through everything she is going through, she has such great concerns for others..GOD bless you Nicole.

It breaks my heart to hear. I met Nichole last year at the conference. Her and her mother were so sweet and kind. We talked for awhile and in depth about the pelvic exent, they both had questions regarding the surgery. It was my pleasure to help in any way I could. I will keep Nichole, her mother and her 4 precious children in my thoughts and prayers.

As you fly up to heaven on the wings of Angels, we will continue your fight here. ALWAYS!!!

Alan -

Thanks for this. I only wish she could have walked the line with me and the other ladies of the NCCC at the fashion show in June - it would have been my honor to share the stage with her! She is truly one amazing young lady and from the moment I met her I just knew she was someone special. Her shear will to live and drive to find a cure is awe inspiring.

It literally breaks my heart to see her go, especially when this disease is so preventable. I still can't get over the fact that she has four small children and all those times her doctor looked at her cervix while she was pregnant and never once realized the giant tumor growing - it is terrifying! it should have been caught sooner and she should be living a long a fruitful life - not struck down in her prime.

My heart goes out her awesome Mom, her beautiful four children (they remind me of my own) and her husband. I wish them well in these final days with her earthly presence. As for her spirit - that will live on in their hearts, and ours forever.

Seriously, with the holidays coming, if there is anything I/we can do to help her family out - gift cards, meals, well wishes, whatever - please let us know.

Her passing stikes me deeply on a personal level, as do the other young women who have gone before her that we had the priviledge to know. We should not be dying from this disease - not in 2009 - not with all we now know. If anything, her story inspires me to double my efforts and try even harder to fight HPV and ensure that her story, and mine and everyone else's, are told over and over in hopes that they will touch a life or inspire one more women to get tested.

Please send my love and gratitude to Nicole. I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

xo,

P

Please send my love, hugs & kisses to Nicole & family and let her know I'm praying for her & the family.

My heart goes out as I am a cervical cancer survivor who was diag. when preg. with my last - I am a mother of 3 young boys - I can't begin to imagine what you are going through as a family. As always in my thoughts and prayers. I will continue to spread the message.

When you are at your lowest, God can lift you up. When you cry, He sees the tears. He knows our names, He knows our despairs. He is the only one who can comfort. He is the only one that can bring peace to your heart during sorrow. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Let Him carry your burdens. His arms are opened wide. My prayers are with you.
