I had a Radical Tracelectomy nearly 2 years ago at age 26 after being diagnosed with stage 1B2 cervical cancer. I recovered well with no complications and all is clear however I am continuing to bleep during intercourse the doctors do not have a reason for this. I wondered if anyone was experiencing the same or had any advice?
If you google bleeding after sex pretty much the only thing that comes up is cervical cancer. Have you gotten a ct scan or an exam to indicate nothing is going on?
I can't imagine that you wouldn't be healed after 2 years, so I think it's odd. I hope you get some answers soon!!!!
I agree...you should get tested again. But, I had cervical cancer 9 years ago and still bleed from sex, especially if we go to deep (sorry -tmi) or hit my cervix. It is painful and has never gone away and I have had every test possible run on me during the course of the past few years and I do not have CC and haven't tested positive for HPV this entire time.
With that said, my doctor pointed out sometimes women just have this problem. The skin over the wound is thin or the tissue isn't as thick as it once was, so it rips a little during sex and bleeds. Simply put, you didn't heal well, as well all heal differently.
Just to be safe though, I would suggest raising this concern to your doctor.
