Post Colposcopy Question

0 Recommendations

I was diagnosed with CIN1 this past thursday. I had a colposcopy two weeks prior to that. I was wondering if it's normal to miss a period after the procedure. I was curious since I am on BCP, and would assume that it would keep my cycle fairly normal and on track.

well everyone says it's not supposed to affect your period, but the same thing happened to me after my colpo so i'm not sure. i was totally due for a period the next week and it didn't happen. but the standard answer, i believe, is no.

I've had 3 colpos and it hasn't changed my period but I am sure everyone's bodies react differently
