i've known I'm HPV positive w/ a normal pap for three weeks now and have a follow up in march. Between trying to quiet the fear, anger, misbelief, etc in my head..I'm trying to boost my immune system. Doc told me to take multi w/ folic and l-lysine. Has anyone tried Papillex?

HPV Folic acid

Hello,
I am sorry to hear about your abnormal pap. Hopefully you will find that you are able to boost your immune system to the point that the HPV virus is not able to show symptoms in your body. After I was diagnosed with CIN from HPV, I took Papillex for 3 months, while waiting for my LEEP procedure date. When I went to the doctor to undergo the procedure, the CIN was gone, so it was very effective for me. However, it's very important for me to note that I also changed my diet to include a lot of leafy green, veggies, and fruits, and eliminated refined sugars/flours.
Regarding your doctors recommendation, Folic Acid is definitely indicated for HPV treatment, however lysine is not. Perhaps he/she was thinking of Herpes, which it is indicated for.
Best of luck to you. Please report your progress.

thanks for the answer..I started taking Papillex for one month and have been eating veggies/fruits, cut bacl ALOT on my junkfood (although i do have my weak moments for Oreos and Ben and Jerry's mint coockie ice cream)..she said that L-lysine helps in eliminating virus infections..not just for herpes (and collagen growth..so if it doesn't help w/ the hpv and least my skin will look youthful!)
