I guess Im thinking very postive I was looking over the paper work my DR gave me on Tue, after my colsc.
That the pap results read CIN III but he sees CIN II...I no its still there but makes me feel a little better. Wont know all until the biopsy results are back Fri or Monday but I felt like I could breath a little better!
Anyone else had this happen? IT was a low grade then what the pap read?

Sorry to hear what you are going through.. I recently just had my pap smear results come back with a CIN III result showing severe dypslaysia . I was referred to a gyno for a coloscopy and biopsy... The gyno said he was pretty sure that it was a CIN III he even gave me my hospital addmittance papers to fill out cause he thought ide have to have an opperation. A week later the Biopsy results came back showing CIN I and he said no need for treatment and to come back in months.
So i was pretty freaked out to start with and sooooo worried about my results but apparently a pap smear can not confirm CIN I II OR III but only confirm abnormalities in cell and this could range from low to severe..
Hopefully that answers your question .. I would wait till you get your biopsy results and remember to ask as many questions as possible.. its the unknown thats the scary part.

Now Im a mess as I was spring cleaning, anything to keep my mind off all this since its Friday and was told either Fri or Mon I will get my biopsy results back.
Well I was vacuuming and they called and I missed the phone call and when i saw the number and there was a voicemail I got weak in my legs and my heart started pounding! So I listen and it was the nurse telling my results are in and my DR would like me to call Mon to make an appt to go over everything! Makes me now think the worse as I have called and left a voice mail for the front desk lady ( who is, his wife) to call me back to either set up an appt or give me some hope over the phone! Now Im even more of a wreak!!
