nausea after hysterectomy

0 Recommendations

I had a total hysterectomy on Oct. 5 - in the past three days I have felt very nauseated. It feels like the nausea that I had when I was pregnant. I'm trying to figure out if this could be due to the lack of hormones in my body.

wendii, it may be due to pain medications you may be taking.....and you may not be eating quite as much as usual....and that could combine with upsets from the pain meds.

I AGREE WITH FLOWERSHOPLADY. MY SISTERI LAW SAID THAT WEN SHE FEELS NAUSEA THE DOCTOR TOLD HER TO TAKE VITAMIN B12 SHE SAYS IT DOES WORK

I have stopped taking the pain meds. The last few days I have only taken tylonel. Prior to that, tho, I was taking a lot of Ibuprofen - maybe that has affected my stomach. I'm wondering if maybe the change in hormones in my body could be making me nauseated
