More bleeding after cone biopsy

0 Recommendations

Hi all,

I was wondering.....I had a cold knife cone biopsy on Oct 23. Had heavy bleeding for three days after, then got lighter. Then woke up bleeding heavily again. Had a day with nothing, then bled AGAIN heavily. Now had 2 days and bled heavily again. Each time it starts suddenly out of the blue, then stops just as fast. What is going on, is this normal?????

I have no idea what to wear on a daily basis - seems like at any moment I can bleed through the biggest pads I get. Has anybody else had this problem? My dorcot doesn't seem very concerned, but it's just strange to me that I go from practically no discharge (just a little yellowish discharge) to bleeding through a pad with big clots the next moment, no warning, and stopping as quickly........

Any thoughts, I'm a bit concerned.

Thanks :)

hi there. i think this may be normal. when i had my cold knife cone. i thought wow just spotting, thats not soo bad, then one morning i woke up and bled so hard and clotted so bad, i mean chunks, and thought something is bad wrong. never seen anything like it. i did that alll day and all night. i was scared. the next day, i was spotting and that was it. a few days later there was nothing. so i quit using pads. and then??????? i was bleeding again. then it was done. well now.. ive had a hysterectomy still have ovaries, and i am fine. if it keeps up, or stays heavy for several days like that, i would go see your dr. but. i think its ok. just dont lift heavy things and rest alittle/.
