Ok, I haven't been on the board for awhile. Updates are; I had cryo therapy back in April, ended up getting an infection from that and spent a week in the hospital being treated for endometritis.. OH JOY. So fast forward . I got engaged.... yay ! So in August I found out I was pregnant, got all excited, watched my fiance turn into over protective father type. Then the bad news came in september. I miscarried, and now I extremly scared to even try to have children. HELP!!!!!

Dear Babyj870508:
My heart goes out to you with all your troubles at such a young age. I haven't been in your situation but I can tell you that it took me 9 frustrating years to get pregnant. Let time heal your body. You are in my thoughts & prayeres. You have so much to look forward to.

Thanks for your prayers.

Congratulations on your marriage. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage though. To put things in perspective, since these days they can tell if you're pregnant even before you miss a period, miscarriages are more common (but no less traumatic.) When I was of childbearing years, we were told to not even take a test or see a doctor unless we had missed our second period. Since many early miscarriages are natural corrections, back then we had many miscarriages that we didn't even know we had!

My daughter was devastated when she had one shortly after her marriage. Fast forward: My granddaughter is due in December, my first grandchild! Reproductive health has made great strides in the last 20 years, so try to keep a good frame of mind. Your knowing you had an early miscarriage is just one of the down sides of our advances in reproductive medicine. There are many more advantages, however. Stay positive!
