I think it is wonderful that you care so much for your mother-in-law.

My tumor was small enough that it was removed by hysterectomy. I did radiation and chemotherapy. I had 28 ext. treatments, the last three were considered the boost. They target the exact location of the tumor and destroy any remaining cancer that may be in that location. Is your mother-in-law doing any internal radiation treatments? Also, why not chemotherapy? What type of cancer does/did she have?

Best wishes to your family during this difficult time.

Hi she has stage 4 type b cervical cancer , they will not give her chemo because of her age , and i do not believe she would be strong enough for it anyway, it seems like it should be removed , but theres been no mention of it ,as for internal treatment it was mentioned at the start maybe they will go that way, i just wish they would trust us and tell what they really think thank you ,, phillip

I am so sorry to hear that your mother-in-law is having to go through all this. Cancer is a devastating disease that affects the whole family. I was wondering if your mother-in-law's heart could stand surgery. Me, I'd want "it" out if possible. Just the thought of cancer growing in my body is un-nerving. I think you should have a one-on-one with her doctor and get some clear answers. Then trust the good Lord to lead you in the right decisions.
