Hello,
I had a LEEP last August for CIN3 and it was all removed and have since had 2 follow up coloposcopies (no biopsies) and a Pap. I decided to come off the Pill in September last year and my periods have been irregular since with the following cycles 40,30,33,28,47,41 days. My last period was June 15th but then just 16 days later, on June 30th I had a mini period for about 1.5 days. It was more than spotting and required the use of a couple of regular tampons. I did go to the doctor in March when I had the 47 day cycle and she did a pregnancy test which was negative (I'm 30 and have no kids and not currently trying) and didn't seem too concerned about it then.
Does it take that long (it's been 10 months) for periods to get back to regular after coming off the pill and is a 16 day cycle something to be concerned about? I don't even think it was a cycle as it wasn't a full period, they are usually 3-4 days long.
I also have had some mild low back pain but that could be explained by many things such as riding my bike more and not doing as much core strengthening as usual but because of my GYN history I am a little paranoid!
I know I should go to the doctor which I will next week but just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?
