good news on follow up

0 Recommendations

Hi everyone,

I just had my second follow up pap after my High grade pap in February and Colp in April and it came back normal! I'm so relieved and thankful for all of your support and answers to my questions throughout the past few months. And I am just blessed I have followed up with normal paps since May. I am not sure how my body cleared it up so fast but my doctor said that its because I am young and my body just fought the virus off. How quickly it happened baffles me.

She also told me that it shouldnt come back unless I have a new partner in which case I could pick up another strain. Does anyone know if this is true? Because she recommended the vaccine but I don't want to get it.

I also just wanted to say I am praying for everyone who is dealing with this and hope for the best in everyones situation. God Bless you all.

I'm so happy for you that you have received good results!!

get the vaccine...it can prevent you from getting another strain of hpv (protects against the two most common low and two most common high risk strains)...
