finally clear result!

hi all. its been a long while since i posted something on this site. i do check this site frequently though, as it was such a great help to me when i needed it. last oct, i went for my first smear ever, and it came back cin 3. i was devestated. i thought this is it, its never going to leave me alone. it was always in my thoughts, i obsessed over it, couldnt sleep or eat. it was an awful time. i had a loop diathermy done, which to my relief, wasnt a bad experience for me, it was much the same as biopsy i thought.
that came back with clear margins, and a few weeks ago, i had to back for another smear. the waiting game starts again, the worrying, all those horrible feelings. my results came back yesterday!!!! EVERYTHING IS NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was such a relief.

what i want to say is that, not every story or experience is bad. i mean, im not sure how long im going to be clear for, but this is a step in the right direction. since cin 3, i take multi vits , folic acid and echinacea every day. i quit smoking day of colposcopy, and ive just tried to be a little healthier. whether that had an impact on my clear result, i dont know, but it feels good to think im doing something proactive.

so, to all you strong ladies out there, there are good stories, and we can beat this awful virus, and for now while im clear, im going to enjoy it, and try and not worry xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
