So I found out yesterday that I have moderate cervical dyplasia.....by my Dr is on vacation until July 6th.....so I don't know if he will want to do another procedure or not! I hate waiting!
We briefly discussed options during my colposcopy & he said he doesn't recommend the LEEP-because I had it done 7 years ago. He did mention the laser but I don't know much about it....any input on this?

I highly recommend laser if you can find an experienced laser surgeon. In fact, in researching all my treatment options over 2 years (with my dysplasia getting worse and worse), I traveled out of state for a laser surgeon. I had the nd:YAG laser top hat ablation for cervical dysplasia on the ecto and endocervix with a +ecc which you are not really supposed to do because at least one of my lesions was not entirely colposcopically visible (was extending into canal), but I think it's ok if you are good about follow up--meaning do your first follow-up in 3-4 months. Your doctor should laser about 5mm deep for moderate dysplasia--including the endocervical crypts.

My reasoning was that even with excision procedures one cannot be entirely certain whether margins are clear (when they are not, you still have continued follow-up and possibly repeat procedure), so why not choose the least invasive, most controlled method with the lowest percentage of possible future pre-term delivery. (These aren't absolutes, of course, just depends on the individual, in fact I had some minor complications but I'd do it again if I had to.) But you have to decide what is best for you! Hearing clear margins is a can put your mind mostly at ease earlier than 3-4 mos. and there is no price for peace of mind.

If you decide to go with laser and can access the ATL area I can recommend my surgeon just send me a pm. Good luck with everything!

since this is the second time you've had cervical dysplasia, and thus it's recurring (either from the same initial hpv exposure, or a new exposure), i would highly recommend you see a gynecologic oncologist for treatment, and he/she will be able to provide you with the best options that fit your situation.
