They say reacurance cancer is harder to fight. I just became a grandma and I don't want to hear that I may only have 2 years of life left. But thats what I heard. I feel fine. I go in for a byapsy today and of course I am scared just because. If I was able to get rid of the cancer in my cervix than why not in my neck too. Is there anyone who can give me alittle hope or some other means of treatment? Thank you. I pray for us all.
so it's back in your lymph nodes in your neck is that what you are saying? i had it come back in my nodes in my abdomen. they say the normal progression is abs, then neck.
reason it would come back there is that chemo didn't actually work for you. when you had it in your pelvic nodes the lymph fluid carried the cancer cell on. in theory it should have been destroyed by chemo but for whatever reason it wasn't.
i know it's hard to hear that it came back. i'm 31. i never thought i'd be doing this again.
but stay strong, fight hard and you will get through this.
what type of treatment are they offering you?

I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through! Just don't give up your faith because that's one of the main components in STRENGTH. You still have so much to live for, so please do NOT let this thing take you down. Just follow that saying, "I'm going to live forever or die trying!" . I believe in you... and I believe that you have it in you to be a fighter...because believe it or not some people just don't realize how much strength they have until something calls for it.

what are some symptoms of cancer spreading to your lymph nodes? i CIN-I i think, but have been have some really strange symptoms lately even though i've been clear for months
I'm so sorry to hear about your recurrance. I too have had one (mine was in my lungs and vag-check out my profile for the full story) and was also given the ol' tsk tsk tsk and head shake by the oncologist. Let us know what kind of treatment plan they come up with, and I recommend getting in touch with a good naturopath. Oxygenate, and alkalyze your body, it will help it fight. I can give you more info if you are interested, but my best advice is to get yourself in to a naturopath, as I said before, and a good acupuncturist. The stronger your body is before you start treatment, the better you will feel, and the easier it will be for your body to fight this.

i'm very sorry to hear about your recurrance. i've been thinking about you, and i hope by now you've got your results and your doctors have been able to put together a treatment plan. there are other women here who have had recurrances and treatments....reach out for their support as you go through this. and, please let us know how you're doing!
Please don't leave the Lord out of all this you are going through. The Lord can give you peace that no one else can come near to giving. The power of prayer is awesome. During my own ordeal, I had so many wonderful prayer warriors praying for me, and I know that this is what gave me the strength I needed. So, don't leave the Lord out. James tells us that we have not because we ask not. Ask and ye shall receive. Just lean on the Lord. He wants you to. My prayers are with you.

Hi my name is Lori. I didn't really have any symptoms (Im starting to now). At first I just felt a small pea size bump in my neck. Im now having some headaches and I am tierd alot. Have you had a pet or cat scan?
