Birth Control & HPV

I have been on and off oral contraceptives for the last 7 years. Recently I've read hormonal birth control methods can contribute to HPV infections and dysplasia. So I've been considering ParaGard, the copper IUD. I don't know much about IUD's and dysplasia, does anyone know if that's an option I can consider? Are there any negative affects of the copper IUD and this "cervical malfunction" we are dealing with [ that was meant to be humorous, please dont anyone take offense to it! ]
ps- me and condoms don't get along...They irritate my skin and make intercourse very uncomfortable no matter HOW much lubrication we use. ::Also, [TMI] dealing with above average size, so style & material options are limited::
