Anybody else put on an antibiotic after conization just as a precaution?
Wondering as I hate taking them for no reason so am holding off

I just think antibiotics are overused. I'm skipping them unless necessary

klynn, i agree.....and so do most doctors, so i think it's interesting that they gave you a rx as a prevention. did you ask your doctor about it, and if the risk is low, why doesn't he wait until that possibility occurs, if it occurs?
