Yes, I've read about her on the gossip sites before. Her story breaks my heart! It's good to see people speak out, even though you know there have to be more celebs out there who are facing HPV/Dysplasia and Cervical Cancer. They're still human, after all.

This is a sad story - she is so young. And for it to be made public is just horrible but it is good to see more light being shed on cervical cancer.
They say that between 11,000 and 12,000 cases of cervical cancer will be diagnosed per year but it seems there could be more because of HPV.

What a sad and scary story. However, I hope that some good can come of this and it gets some attention on how serious this disease can be.
"Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in women under 35 after breast cancer."
Why the heck isn't this statistic used to get the attention of younger women????

This is such a sad story she is so young. I wish we could all do something to really get the word out about how serious cervical cancer can be, and that in most cases can be caught quit quickly.

I couldn't agree more chamomile! The exact same thought went through my head. That is such a heavy statement and after reading the article that sentence really struck me. (aside from how sad this is for Jade Goody)
