About 4 weeks post LEEP procedure

Hi everyone. I went to my gyno for my 3 week check up a few days ago after a LEEP, and my cervix had healed 95%. He said I could do anything I wanted now: swim, have sex, vigorous exercise. I have no infection! And the lab said that all the corners were healthy, so they successfully removed all of the precancerous cells! I am so glad! I hope they don't come back, but if they do I will be more prepared. I had CIN1 and acute cervicitis. My period after the LEEP was 2 weeks late, which was odd. Very crampy, but took Advils and put a hot patch on my tummy. I have to say the LEEP was so annoying wearing a pad all the time, leaking, and no sex. Finally I am not leaking anymore. Best news: He told me I could have a baby whenever. No waiting necessary. Hang in there girls! Don't 4get to get your paps!

Thank you so much for posting your story! I think it's really important that people post their stories of a good recovery here to give us new members a little bit of hope & a little less fear. I think this is a wonderful message board because people are so supportive & happy to share anything. I think for me, I started looking online to be informed then I kept finding worst case scenarios that scared me more! Like my husband told me, a lot of people who post their stories online are the more difficult stories because many people with the good stories just move on with their lives & don't look back. But your story with a successful outcome is very inspiring & gives me hope!!!! I hope you continue to heal nicely & have fun getting to swim, have sex, & making a baby! ;)
