A story of a cancer survivor and ostomate

From: John Novack, Communications Director, Inspire
Dear members,

Here is a link to a new column, “No day on the beach: A colon cancer survivor’s story,” on the Stanford University School of Medicine “Scope” blog http://bit.ly/RXgulj. The column comes from cancer survivor Mark Nelson, an active member of Inspire. It is a story about patient empowerment, adapting to a new life as an ostomate, and the frustrations in communicating with doctors. I think you will find the column interesting. Please share it as you see fit, and consider leaving a comment on the Scope blog.
Thanks for being Inspire members.
