Involuntary urination w orgasm

I'm looking for anyone who may have info regarding the leakage of large amts of urine w orgasm. Whether alone or w a partner.
Also I'm teaching Kegals and looking for more suggestions for ways to explain how to do a pelvic floor contractions. I talk about elevators, and holding in urine or flatus, "closing the vagina" as one of my pts suggested. And not using gluteal muscles. But always looking for new suggested. Some people still don't get it.

The leaking of urine could be an underlying condition. Have you seen a urologist for this? My suggestion is to find one in your area, get in and tell them your issues and concerns. Pelvic exercises never helped me, but each person is different. I am always here to listen and offer advice.

Just for thought tho, I have interstial cystitis, a prolapsed bladder, and severe incontenence (spelling). I take medication, Elmiron, watch what I eat and drink, have a mesh bladder sling, and an interstim. Though, truly not as bad as it sounds.....

Keep me posted.

For more suggestions on the kegel instructions watch our YouTube video for more ideas on how to contract the pelvic floor muscles: http://www.nafc.org/bladder-bowel-health/types-of-incontinence/stress-incon tinence/pelvic-muscle-exercises/

Thanks NAFC great you tube videos

Have you seen a Urologist for this condition?

I don't think it is urine you are loosing when orgasming.

I have been incontinent since my prostate surgery some 19 years ago. I wear pads 24/7. I squirt urine when I have an orgasm, even though I always go to the bathroom before I have sex with my wife. We have learned to live with it, and we put several towels under us to prevent wetting the bed. I have done a lot of Kegels, and it has helped, but not very much.

You could have an underlying medical condition. Ask your uro if they are familiar with interstistial cyctitis. If so, ask to be tested for this. Have you ever considered asking about an interstim? Chat with your uro.............

Hope this information helps :)

Rather than leaking urine, this could be female ejaculation. If you can actually urinate after intercourse, most likely this is the case. No cause for alarm, you're not broken. Rather, you are enjoying a very special thing. It may feel like you have to urinate before orgasm, but it's a result of G-spot stimulation. My wife expereinces this too and it's something both of us enjoy.

Take care!

Because I have reflex incontinence, due to a spinal cord injury and birth defect, I always leak urine when I orgasm. I just keep a reuseable bedpad down on my bed, so my sheets don't get wet. I have read somewhere that this can occur due to bladder spasms during orgasm, and sometimes there is not much you can do about it.

Ever since I got botox injections in my bladder to stop bladder spasms and leakage, I have noticed a dramatic reduction in the amount of urine that leaks out during orgasm. This might be something to look into.

Thanks for sharing prettykitty!
