My 9 yr old daughter has cp. She had hydrocephalus too. She never needed a shunt because the extra fluid drains ok but her venticles are enlarged and still have lots of fluid in them. She has no pressure or headaches or problems from the fluid that I know of now. But wasn't sure if I should see a specialist for this to see if have this may be causing some of her brain issues with learning and motor skills. Or is the damage done, the fluid is ok as long as it drains (like I was told by 1 dr.). Or is no extra fluid good fluid. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
