Interview for women's magazine article

0 Recommendations

Hello All,

We received a request from a journalist who is writing an article for a national women’s magazine; she is interested in talking with women with MS below the age of 40. If you're open to talking about your experience and willing to have your name and photograph published, we would like to hear from you. Please contact Jennifer at Inspire at jennifer@inspire.com. Include your full name, age, occupation, city and state of residence and a few sentences about your MS experience. Jennifer will then pass this information on to the journalist for a possible interview.

Hi, I am new here, but I might be interested in sharing my story. I am a single mom and was dx 3 months before I graduated college in 2003. Never had a symptom, just woke up valentines day 2003, basically paralyzed on my right side. Never had another lesion, but that one attack was so bad I have never fully recovered, meaning my symptoms never really fully go away. I worked up until last week which is why I joined this site. My experience with work has been horrible. Companies will give you a reasonable accomodation and then use intimidation to get you to work beyond your hours, etc...for fear you may lose your job. It has been a battle. People don't get it. I am no victim though. Anyways, I would be willing to speak. Thanks!
