Hi. My name is Sandy, and I just found this forum today. I have dystonia/spasticity, but at this point the doctors are not sure why. I have the autoimmune disease vasculitis (undifferentiated), and they are not sure if the dystonia is being caused by the vasculitis or by some other "monster" lurking in the background. I am being treated with PT, leg braces, and just recently had my first botox injections, which did absolutely nothing. They are going to try the botox at a higher dosage, but I can't get that done until October (due to insurance regs! UGH!). I would love to hear from others out there who deal with dystonia/spasticity and people who have had the botox injections. Thanks for being here! :-)
