Medications & Nightmares

Does anyone have any nightmares or bizarre dreams because of their medication?

When my depression/anxietys are bad nightmares are very commonplace. I was recently diagnosed with insomnia which obviously adds another layer of sorts to it all - but yeah, the nightmares of late have made it so I'm actually scared to go to sleep (or at least attempt to) due to the images my brain decides to conjure.

Whether this has to do with medication or not,I'm not sure.although I'd likely say no. As the dose age I'm on I've been on for a long while (though it's currently being reevaluated) and I can easily pinpoint things that'll be causing my mind to create such vivid horrors.

Are you sure they're directly linked to the medication and not just general results of your anxieties, etc?
