Hypogonadism

0 Recommendations

Hi all,
I am new to this forum, but belong to others here on Inspire. What brought me here, is that I was diagnosed in my mid 40s with hypogonadism. My body stopped producing testosterone and most probably produced less than satisfactory amounts from puberty into my 40s. I take testosterone replacement gel, and when I first started on this, it was like puberty hit me big time! The doctors feel that its most likely a genetic disorder ( I do not know my birth parents so its supposition that its genetic). I was curious if any other men out there have this health issue.

Celiac disease

Hi, just joined, too. I'm 46. Longtime undiagnosed celiac disease affected my bones and my libido. Diagnosed in 2005. After 2 years on GF diet, my bone density improved. But not libido. After another 3, BMD had dropped to below the original low celiac level. i suspect that i have hypogonadism and i am going to ask my endocrinologist about it in about 10 days.
