In our state we have available to our children currently starting middle school (next yr for EM) North Carolina virtual school it is computer based edu (very much like home schooling without specific times on the computer so its flexible) And guess what its free....and she continues to get the same credits and diploma.....wonder why no one in my edu system mentioned this as a option for Em.....it works like a charter school and the funds are transferred from Em's school district to pay her tuition....aaaaah maybe that's why they didn't mention it to me....the only catch is you have to be enrolled in that school system, not home schooled....but being home bound will qualify her by keeping her enrolled....yeah!!!!! One thing I have so discovered there is very few options for our kids and it makes me mad!!!! Oh well there goes that I just had a phone call stating that currently this is not available until High School....Home schooling here we come.......*************
