Lobectomies and shovels

I have mixed emotions about what I can and cant do. My thoracic surgeon told me that after six weeks I could pretty well do whatever I wanted, which sounded good to me. I have been avoiding lifting as much was possible. It's now been six weeks. We have possibly 50 cm of snow on the way and I'm wondering who has had to deal with cleaning a driveway with a snow shovel after this surgery ( I had the full surgery, not vats). I am thinking of doing this slow and easy with a small shovel. I don't care if it takes a coupla days to clean it up. I've read lots of things about a 10 lb. limit for a couple of months. Thoughts?
