I was wondering if there is anybody in a similar situation who could give advice. 18 months ago I had my left lung removed together with four lymph nodes, of which one was found to be malignant. I have had regular cat scans which have all been clear. However, I recently had a PET scan which has shown up a malignant lymph node in the upper part of chest in the front. Reports and the oncologist say that this has been there since the beginning and that it is not metastatic. The oncologist has recommended radiation. I recently spoke to a well renowned homeopath & GP and asked her advice. She recommends oxygen therapy. She says it is difficult to radiate the chest area and that it can cause more damage. She said radiation is only done as a last resort. I am very confused. Any opinions on this?
