I was diagnosed stage IV NSCLC in Feb. of this year. After a lung resection, thoracotomy, bi-lateral hernia surgery and gamma knife surgery, then 12 weeks of chemo and 7 weeks of radiation with chemo, i got my scan results today. As of today, I have NO active disease in my body. I could never have imagined the relief I felt today. I thank everyone for all the prayers and I sincerely hope these same prayers work for all of us fighting this battle. As i look back over the past 9 month journey, the only thing I see this evening are the unbelievable people I have met. For those of us still fighting, I will keep praying. For those who have lost the battle, thank you and your families for your fight. Because of you, the war is not over. God Bless, Joe
