My husband was dx with sclc May 2007. He has had chemo - radiation - WBR - SRS.
The mets to his brain have started to grow again. Since they are the same ones that were subjected to SRS he cannot have anymore radiation to the Brain.
The Doctor has suggested we call in Hospice - we have met with them - but we have decided to wait a while longer.
I am at a loss of what to do. This man is my husband and my best friend. We have no children but, we are lucky to have some really great friends. He sleeps alot now. Not sure if it is from the meds or the tumors.
Sometimes it is good to share with people who are going thru the same thing. I have read alot of the discussions and journals over the past month.
