Hello my name is Laura & my dad was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Lung cancer - adenocarcinoma. He is currently receiving chemo consisting of cisplatin & etoposide. HIs cough is still persistent & his stomach (on the left side) is starting to hurt. I was wondering if this is a sign that this regimen is not working for him??? I've read that cisplatin & taxol are a better regimen. Any thoughts??? Thanks!!
